Welcome to Nuu Technical and Vocational College.

As the Chairperson of the Board of Governors, it is my distinct honor to welcome you to our dynamic learning community. Our mandate, rooted in the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Act, is to ensure that this institution remains a beacon of excellence, innovation, and practical skills development in Kenya.

The Board of Governors is deeply committed to providing the strategic oversight and robust governance required to foster an environment where technical talents are nurtured. We work closely with the college management, the Ministry of Education, and our vital industry partners to ensure that our infrastructure, curriculum, and training methodologies meet the highest national and global standards.

Our ultimate goal is to empower the youth with market-driven, competency-based skills that not only make them highly employable but also transform them into self-reliant job creators who will drive our nation's economic development. We are continually investing in our facilities, supporting our dedicated staff, and expanding our industry linkages to ensure every trainee who walks through our doors is positioned for success.

Roles of the Board of Governors

Strategic Direction & Policy Formulation: Guiding the institution's long-term vision, mission, and strategic objectives to align with national technical training goals.
Financial Oversight: Approving annual budgets, overseeing financial management, and ensuring transparent and accountable use of institutional resources.
Infrastructure & Resource Development: Overseeing the expansion and maintenance of physical infrastructure, training equipment, and learning resources.
Quality Assurance: Ensuring that the Competency-Based Education and Training (CBET) programs meet the strict regulatory standards set by the TVET Authority and industry partners.
Human Resource Management: Overseeing the welfare, capacity development, and disciplinary matters of the college's management and support staff.
Corporate Governance & Compliance: Ensuring the institution complies with all statutory regulations, including the TVET Act and Ministry of Education directives.
